Overview
The startup developed a dynamic pricing solution for supermarkets based on product’s expiration date. Wasteless offers a real-time monitoring solution for retailers and a flexible and scalable software platform technology. The algorithm is based on the reading of the GS1 Databar labels.
Pilot Objectives
✔ 90 day pilot run in Iper’s hypermarket on Amadori’s products.
✔ Test the efficacy of the dynamic pricing algorithm, reduce unsold inventory, and increase revenue.
✔ Develop the Business Case to understand roll-out feasibility and application scenarios.
